This is the only piece of common sense advice you will ever read on the JABS website. http://jkn.com/View?j=857638.714660120417 gives a flavour of the standard of advice on the JABS forum. The posters here are into (in their own words) “MetaMedicine, Quantum Touch etc all using Kinesiology, acupressure points, chakras, laying on of hands – that type of thing.” Bonkers. Absolutely bonkers. But it gets worse… “Joan posted a message [for believers] about a year ago saying Archangel Metratron “is very concerned about children who are labelled as having Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and he helps parents, educators, scientists, and health-care professionals find natural alternatives to Ritalin and other psychoactive medications.” Yes, you read that correctly. Archangel Metratron. Joan thinks she has heard from Archangel Metratron and that he helps find natural alternatives to ritalin.

They delete all traces of threads that show them in a bad light. They will not brook debate, discussion or (heaven forfend!) argument. The JABS forum states in the ‘How This forum Works’ thread that “This board is free and open to all. Our intention is that it remains that way.” However, they ban anyone who does not take the same line as them. They say “We try really hard to be open and inclusive and fair, but don’t always succeed.” While, it is certainly true to say that they don’t always succeed, I’m not sure that they do try that hard.
